Week 47: @jmtcz

I am passionate about presentations and I believe that everyone has the potential to become a great presenter. I’m on a mission to change the way people think about presentations and to show them how to present their ideas in a way that makes people want to listen.

I’m American, but I’ve called Prague home since 1995. I’ve been working as a freelance presentation trainer and coach since 2006. My background includes sales, management and HR.

Week 46: @Veru_Br

I’m 26, was born in Olomouc, graduated from Faculty of Social Science in Brno. After a few years travelling all around I settled in the best area of Prague that is called Vršovice. I’m working on a few NGO’s projects, working in a restaurant as a waitress, learning about marketing and PR and looking forward what my life will bring me on. I like food, good ideas, making coffee (I can do the nice heart on your cappuccino), going for walks with my dog, electronic music, yoga, community theater. I don’t like people that are not able to smile and my favourite writter is Milan Kundera.

Week 41: @Kryspin

My name is Jan Marcinek, I am 28 and I’m a copywriter based in Prague. I finished Bachelor of Arts at the Film Academy of Miroslav Ondricek in Pisek (Screenwriting and Directing). I moved into advertising industry, where I’m happy.

I’m dedicated to spreading the young talent of the advertising industry. I work as digital media manager for Young Lions Czech republic since 2010, where we aim to inspire, educate and grow the fresh blood that this industry is built on.

In 2012, Art Directors Club of the Czech Republic offered me to be in charge for the new categories (Young Creative and Student) at the Louskáček – a prestigious competition for the most creative Czech advertising.

Hello, I’m Jakub (James, Jacob you would say in English). You can also call me Kuba, its a result of a weird Czech habit to shorten names to totally different ones. I’m 27, a bit too old for my bachelors psychology studies. I live in a tiny flat on Smichov, close by the river Vltava in the centre of Prague.
